Paul's hand built boat and a head shot of Paul
AIA

Woodworking has always been a passion for Paul, who spent a year carefully crafting a canoe from quarter-inch thick strips of ash. This labor of love resulted in a beautiful and functional creation that brought years of enjoyment to his family.

Paul brings this same thoughtful precision and planning to each project he works on. With over thirty years of experience, he excels at complex problem solving as well as project management and planning. Paul works closely with clients, consultants, vendors, and RTA staff to ensure that each project is successful and meets the needs of the client.

Although he has extensive experience in several project types, Paul’s passion is healthcare design. He enjoys being able to positively impact patient outcomes by creating family - and patient-centric healing environments that also improve staff work spaces. His love of creating healthcare spaces shows in his most recent work on St. Francis Medical Center IMCU-CCU expansion, as well as the innovative William J. Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS).

Paul’s favorite part about being a leader at RTA is mentoring staff members and watching them grow and excel. He enjoys being able to provide the resources for staff to explore and develop their skills.
