Space Foundation Office Unveiled

As part of our work with the Space Foundation, RTA created a new and dynamic image for the much-needed office expansion of this growing educational organization. The new space-themed area was recently completed and unveiled in a celebration attended by staff and the design team.

Chinook Trail Middle School Wins 2 Awards from DBIA Rocky Mountain Chapter

We are excited to announce that the Chinook Trail Middle School project has received two awards from the Design-Build Institute of America Rocky Mountain Chapter! This incredible project won the Education Category as well as the overall Best Project. Congratulations to the hardworking team!

RTA Team Tours Pikes Peak

As construction on the Pikes Peak Summit Complex progresses, many of the RTA team members who have not been part of the project team had the opportunity to tour the site and grab some “World Famous Pikes Peak Donuts”. The MILL Voted one of the Best Trade Schools in Colorado Springs

The Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MILL) was named one of the best trade schools in Colorado Springs! This year it received Silver in the Colorado Springs Independent Best of Colorado Springs reader poll. The RTA-designed MILL is a partnership between the Peyton School District and Widefield School District that provides an opportunity for students to learn advanced woods manufacturing and construction. RTA's Jon Bock Presents at the 2019 LCI Congress

At the 2019 Lean Construction Institute Congress, Jon Bock, RTA’s BIM Manager and Project Architect, joined GE Johnson and Penrose St. Francis Health for a presentation on the IPD process at the St. Francis Medical Center expansion. The panel discussed what is needed to be successful with this unique type of project delivery, lessons learned, and the tools that the team developed to build mutual trust and foster clear communication in a packed conference session. Great job team!

RTA Celebrates Garden of the Gods Restroom Ribbon Cutting

RTA joined City of Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers, County Commissioner Wayne Williams, City employees and community leaders to celebrate the opening of the new “North Main” restroom at Garden of the Gods Park. The new facility was designed to blend in with the rock formations and is fully insulated, naturally ventilated, ADA accessible, and features water bottle filling stations and drinking fountains. The building includes a rooftop observation deck, providing visitors with a better view of the Central Garden and the iconic Kissing Camels formation. New or replacement restrooms in other areas of the park are currently in the works. Read more about this project here.

Gingerbread and Jazz 25th Anniversary Ball
