  • Healthcare Project Architect

    Healthcare Project Architect

    In your new position as part of the firm's healthcare team, you will expand your craft and collaborate with architects who are profoundly impacting many of the area’s greatest projects such as the St. Francis Medical Center, Pueblo Community Health Center, Denver Health and Hospital Authority, and healthcare facilities across the state. Your role will be fast-paced, multi-faceted, and highly engaging. Your primary duties include interacting with healthcare clients to plan, design, and assist in the creation of successful architectural and/or planning projects. You must have a thorough understanding of the practice of architecture and the ability to develop high-quality healthcare projects. You will also be capable of leading and participating in client and team meetings and will be relied upon for your attention to detail, a proactive, positive attitude, and superior communication skills.

    And while you are learning from us, we want to learn from you. You’ll provide input to help RTA continually improve our documents and systems and seek to obtain progressively higher-level assignments on a variety of projects.     Qualified applicants must have:

    • Bachelor or Master Degree of Architecture.

    • State of Colorado Architectural License or ability to pursue Colorado License.

    • Minimum of seven (7) years of healthcare architecture experience as a licensed architect.

    • Superior communication skills to facilitate meetings with the client and project staff.

    • Creative thinking ability and excellent design skills.

    • Experience with governmental agencies regarding building codes and zoning ordinances.

    • Required skills: job knowledge, communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving associated with all phases of a project.

    • The ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to manage projects. Required computer skills: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

    • Ability to perform work that requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in its performance.

    • Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (DOE)

    Typical work hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible options may be available based on job responsibility and leadership expectations.   • Recent College Graduate, Non-Licensed Architectural Staff

    Recent College Graduate (Non-Licensed Architectural Staff)

    In your new entry-level position as part of the firm's architectural team, you will expand your craft and collaborate with architects who are profoundly impacting many of the area’s greatest projects such as the Pikes Peak Summit Complex, the Saint Francis Medical Center, and educational facilities across the state. Your role will be fast-paced, multi-faceted, and highly engaging. Your primary duties are: project work through SD and CD phases; reviewing architectural documents for potential conflict with all disciplines; implementing RFIs and change orders; and participating in client and team meetings. You will also be relied upon for your attention to detail, a proactive positive attitude, and superior communications skills.

    And while you are learning from us, we want to learn from you! You’ll provide input on helping RTA to continually improve our documents and systems and seek to obtain progressively higher-level assignments on a variety of projects.     Qualified applicants must have:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a four (4) year degree in a related field.

    • Zero to four (0-4) years of architecture experience.

    • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings.

    • Basic knowledge of project design and construction documentation production.

    • A collaborative and professional work ethic.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proactive problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep motivation to learn.

    • Creative thinking ability and aesthetic sensitivity.

    • Ability to perform work which requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in its performance.

    • Enrollment in Architecture Experience Program (AXP) and ability to actively work toward completion of requirements within five (5) years of graduation.

    • The following computer skills: REVIT, Autocad, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).

    • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
