Tri-Lakes Community Health Pavillion
RTA teamed up with Boldt Development Group and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region to transform patient care at the Tri-Lakes Community Health Pavilion into a full health and wellness practice. The typical patient experience includes meeting with several physicians and caregivers, and receiving preventive care methods in a variety of locations. The Tri-Lakes Community Health Pavilion is not just a medical office building or a YMCA, but rather a new hybrid health and wellness model that redefines the way these lifestyle services are integrated within the community.

The Health Pavilion includes the YMCA fitness facility, primary care, occupational medicine, pediatrics, an imaging suite, urgent care, rehab facility, and a café. To enhance customer experience and to integrate multiple facilities into a cohesive unit, a shared lobby space was included between the YMCA and the medical office building.
To establish and develop a flexible facility program and conceptual framework to guide design and construction, RTA utilized five “Health and Wellness Program Planning Components:” 1) movement/exercise/physical fitness, 2) medical treatment and integrative/complimentary care, 3) diet and nutrition, 4) knowledge and education, and 5) sustainability.
