Step is a residential recovery program that provides support for men struggling with the disease of addiction. The goal of this program is to provide a safe and sober living environment to assist men in regaining control of their lives. Highly-motivated men are given a second chance with the resources necessary to progress through the regimented 4-stage process: Stability, Development, Transition, and Community (Sober Living).
RTA facilitated a collaborative design process which integrated the Step team into every decision. Alongside Step, RTA worked to design a stable, home-like environment for men struggling with addiction in the Springs area to seek and receive support.
This location will feature the same core programmatic elements of the Denver facility to the Colorado Springs community. The interior modifications will include the addition of administrative spaces, residential living, dining and kitchen areas, a spacious group meeting room, fitness center, and living accommodations for participants.
