The Rocky Mountain Health Care Quail Lake PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) in Colorado Springs is an innovative facility offering a comprehensive range of healthcare and day center services for seniors. This all-inclusive center provides Primary care, rehabilitation, behavioral health services, and social functions, ensuring seniors have access to everything they need for holistic well-being in one location.
Drawing inspiration from the stunning mountain scenery of Colorado Springs, RTA designed the space to bring the tranquility and beauty of the outdoors inside. The interiors feature rich wood textures, soft earth tones, and natural stone elements, evoking the warmth and coziness of a mountain lodge. These design choices create an inviting and peaceful atmosphere, promoting relaxation and well-being for the participants. The strategic space plan encourages interaction and connection, with areas for both quiet reading and lively group activities.
Key site features include a new drop-off canopy for easy access and an outdoor activity space for recreation and socializing. The facility aligns with RMHCS’s vision of enhancing elderly lives through health, dignity, and community with a truly holistic approach to elderly care.
