World Compass Academy is a charter school in the Douglas County School District. Originally a PK-6 school, they desired to expand the school to include middle school grades 7-8 and expand enrollment from 560 students to 960 students.

The two-story building expansion is connected to the existing World Compass Academy facility and includes 14 additional classrooms, a cafeteria, an administration area, and a soccer field. The addition also includes a science lab, an art room, and special education spaces.

RTA and design-build construction partner Nunn Construction, worked closely with the Design Advisory Group (DAG), the Owner’s Representative, and WCA Building Committee Representatives. RTA led eight DAG meetings to evaluate four design and site plan options.
