With the aim to significantly enhance the student experience and provide a space where nursing students can effectively prepare for clinical practice through real-life simulations, Pueblo Community College engaged RTA to design a state-of-the-art simulation lab on the Fremont Campus.

The new lab will be adjacent to the existing simulation lab classroom and include two patient rooms, a staff station, a control room, and storage. The control room, located between the two patient rooms provide a space where instructors and students can observe the simulation.
RTA’s collaborative process began by meeting with key stakeholders to discuss the vision, program goals, and the location of the nursing simulation lab. Following these discussions, RTA developed the design, working closely with user groups and stakeholders to ensure the program and design met the client’s needs.
