The New Pikes Peak Summit Complex Gets CDPHE Approval for Localized Reclaimed Water Treatment System

Yet another important milestone at the Pikes Peak Summit Complex has been reached! The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment approved the localized reclaimed water treatment system for the Visitor’s Center. This is a key step in being able to use reclaimed water to flush toilets in the building, an important aspect of the sustainable design that has been the primary focus of the project that will save over 350,000 gallons of water per year over the former system. The only other entity to achieve this approval is Denver Water. Congrats to the hardworking design team!
