Architectural Interns Kylie Engel and Jordan Pollart and Principals Doug Abernethy and Kevin Gould teamed up with Denver University MBA students to compete in the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge. The challenge was to transform a 25-acre parcel within the Peak Innovation Park near the Colorado Springs Airport. In just four months, the DU-RTA team created a business plan and supporting conceptual designs that consisted of retail space, a miniature 18-hole course, an event center, car condos, a clubhouse, and a gas station. The jury was impressed, and the DU-RTA team went to the finals, placing second out of 4 teams! Congrats everyone!
