Healthcare Project Architect

In your new position as part of the firm's healthcare team, you will expand your craft and collaborate with architects who are profoundly impacting many of the area’s greatest projects such as the St. Francis Medical Center, Pueblo Community Health Center, Denver Health and Hospital Authority, and healthcare facilities across the state. Your role will be fast-paced, multi-faceted, and highly engaging. Your primary duties including interacting with healthcare clients to plan, design, and assist in the creation of successful architectural and/or planning projects. You must have a thorough understanding of the practice of architecture and ability to develop high-quality healthcare projects. You will also be capable of leading and participating in client and team meetings and will be relied upon for your attention to detail, a proactive positive attitude, and superior communications skills.

You’ll provide input to help RTA continually improve our documents and systems and seek to obtain progressively higher-level assignments on a variety of projects. Qualified applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree of Architecture.

  • State of Colorado Architectural License or ability to pursue Colorado License.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare architecture experience as a licensed architect.

  • Superior communication skills to facilitate meetings with the client and project staff.

  • Creative thinking ability and excellent design skills.

  • Experience with governmental agencies regarding building codes and zoning ordinances.

  • Required skills: job knowledge, communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision-making, judgment, and problem solving associated with all phases of a project.

  • The ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to manage projects. Required computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to perform work which requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in its performance.

  • Salary Range: $73,000 - $89,000 (DOE)

Typical work hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible options may be available based on job responsibility and leadership expectations. You will also be relied upon for your attention to detail, a proactive positive attitude, and superior communications skills.

You’ll provide input to help RTA continually improve our documents and systems and seek to obtain progressively higher-level assignments on a variety of projects. Recent College Graduate (Non-Licensed Architectural Staff)

  • Zero to four (0-4) years of architecture experience.

  • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep motivation to learn.

  • Enrollment in Architecture Experience Program (AXP) and ability to actively work toward completion of requirements within five (5) years of graduation.

  • The following computer skills: REVIT, Autocad, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).

  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 (DOE)

Construction Administrator

In your new position as part of RTA’s Construction Administration team, you will collaborate with architects and Owners who are profoundly impacting many of the area’s greatest projects such as the Pikes Peak Summit Complex, St. Francis Medical Center, and innovative K-12 educational facilities across the state. Your role will be fast-paced, multi-faceted, and highly engaging.

Your primary duties are to oversee documented projects during the construction phase and act as liaison among RTA, the client/Owner, and general contractors. You will monitor projects using standard RTA Construction Administration process guidelines and be capable of participating in client and team meetings. You will be relied upon for your attention to detail, a proactive positive attitude, and superior problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • Minimum of BA/BS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering field. A licensed Architect is preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the field or producing construction drawings including CA Phase.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials, scheduling, code compliance, inspection/testing standards, etc.
  • Communication skills to facilitate meetings with the client, contractor and project staff.
  • Strong skills regarding: job knowledge, communication, leadership, planning, teamwork, decision-making, local building code, judgment and problem solving associated with the construction phase of an architectural project.
  • Thorough knowledge of Architect/Owner and Contractor/Owner AIA contracts and their requirements.
  • Ability to utilize computer systems as a tool to effectively manage projects. Required computer skills: MS Office and Bluebeam. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
  • Valid Class R Colorado Driver’s License and ability to travel to project sites (required).
  • Thorough knowledge of code requirements and the ability to implement them.
  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $100,000 (DOE).

Marketing Coordinator

In your new position as part of the firm's Marketing team in beautiful downtown Colorado Springs, your role will be fast-paced, multi-faceted, and highly engaging. Your week will include creating proposals and qualifications packages where you'll be the “air traffic controller”, gathering the necessary background information from colleagues, crafting and editing content, and designing and producing the final submittals. 

You will also find yourself creating PowerPoint presentations and producing leave-behinds for interviews and client meetings. Other ongoing activities that will fill your days include keeping the website engaging and current, managing our social media channels, and tracking analytics. 

And during all this, you will obsess about every detail, ensuring that your work is error-free and that deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
  • One or more (1+) years of experience with an architecture, construction, or engineering firm in a Marketing role.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, and MS Office. Video editing is a plus.
  • Strong graphic design capabilities.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • The ability to produce high-quality work in an extremely fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • The ability to work independently, work extra hours (as needed) to meet deadlines, and travel locally for occasional weekday events.
  • A heart for service, a positive attitude, a proactive nature, and a collaborative mindset.

 

Compensation & Benefits
