Ben D. Foster, Architect

From building tree forts in the woods of Michigan with friends, to insisting on driving through (rather than around) cities to see their skylines and downtowns, Ben knew from an early age that he wanted to be an architect. After receiving his Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan in 2009, Ben honed his talents designing new, contemporary projects that connect the user to the place. Ben's creativity and friendly personality help him form excellent client relationships that link their goals to the final design. With 8 years of professional experience, Ben is a vital addition to the RTA team.

Jheanelle joined RTA in 2016 after completing multiple education programs in Jamaica and receiving her Masters of Architecture from Florida International University. She is motivated by community based projects, where architecture acts as an engine for change. Jheanelle enjoys knowing she makes a difference with her work, both socially and economically. When she begins a new project, Jheanelle asks herself who the building is serving and how the architecture can invest in the dignities of the community that it will serve. Jheanelle’s work ethic, unique perspective, and drive to help others makes RTA and the communities we serve a better place.

Mitchell first joined RTA as a student intern and rejoined the company full time after completing his Master of Architecture from the University of Kansas in 2018. With residential framing experience, he enjoys working on construction details and projects with a sustainability focus. Mitchell decided to pursue a career in architecture because it has the potential to address environmental and cultural topics. He enjoys exploring new workflows and learning new skills to improve both the efficiency and quality of his work. Mitchell's versatility, teamwork, and appetie for knowledge are welcome qualities at RTA.

Christine relocated from Michigan to join the RTA team in 2018. She received her Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in 2011 and enjoys the challenge of renovating existing buildings. Christine is adept at creating designs that will age with a building while meeting the needs of the occupants today. With 10 years of commercial architecture experience and a desire to be heavily involved in the construction process, Christine is a highly experienced addition to the RTA team.

Jordan began working with his hands at a young age on construction sites, but always had a deep passion for art and design. He found a successful harmony of his interests in architecture and graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Ball State University. Jordan enjoys working on projects that are simultaneously emotionally impactful and environmentally responsible. He brings a passion for design, a dedication to the environment, and a commitment to meet the needs of the community to every project he works on.
